Terms and Policy

Bookings and Cancellations

I offer appointments both during and outside of standard working hours to help fit around busy schedules.

Availability may vary depending on my current caseload — feel free to contact me directly to discuss times that work for you.

If you need to change or cancel your appointment:

• You can reschedule up to 48 hours in advance without any charge.

• Changes made less than 48 hours before the session will be fully charged, as it’s likely I will have made travel arrangements and incurred room booking costs.

• I’ll always give you at least one week's notice of any planned changes to my availability.

• In the rare event of an emergency on my side, there will be no charge for the cancelled session.

I appreciate your understanding — keeping to agreed times allows me to offer the best service to everyone I work with.

Protecting Your Information & Confidentiality

I understand that starting therapy and sharing personal experiences can feel daunting.

Your privacy is very important to me, and I take great care to protect any information you share.

As a Chartered Psychologist and accredited CBT and EMDR therapist, I follow strict ethical guidelines around confidentiality (which you can read more about here, here, and here).

I also fully comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for the safe handling of personal data.

All records (clinical notes, contact details, payments) are stored securely using encrypted systems.

I will never share your personal information unless one of the following applies:

With Your Consent: If you request or agree for me to speak with a GP or relevant healthcare professional.

If There’s Serious Risk: If I believe you or someone else could be at serious risk of harm, I may need to contact appropriate services to keep everyone safe.

When Required by Law: In rare cases (such as a court order), I may have to share information by law.

Clinic Supervision: Like all chartered psychologists, I attend regular supervision to maintain high standards of care. Please note, my supervisor(s) is also an accredited practitioner bound by strict ethical frameworks. If your case is discussed, it will always be fully anonymised to protect your identity.

If there is ever a need to share information, I will do my best to talk it through with you first whenever possible.

If you have any questions or concerns about anything in these Terms, please feel free to ask — it’s important you feel comfortable and fully informed.

Contact

If you have any questions about anything you’ve read here or if you’d like to arrange an initial appointment, I’d love to hear from you.

Our first conversation is a chance to talk about what’s bringing you here, whether therapy could be helpful for you right now, and whether I’m the right fit to support you. There’s no charge for this or any pressure — just a space to explore things at your pace.

All enquiries are confidential. You can fill out the form below, if you’d prefer to chat first, feel free to give me a call or leave a message at 089 210 9211. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have before booking anything in.
